Become by Hellen Ayaa is by far one of the best hands-on nonfiction books I have read in recent times. I particularly loved the way the author was practical in breaking down the elusive subjects of vision, purpose and gifting.

The author displayed a rare vulnerability as she shared her story and allowed us gleam into the journey of her becoming. The first part of the book dealt with the subject of identity and progress in adversity. The second part explained from her experiences the roles our emotions have on us and how to master them. In the final part, the author took us through the road and processes that will ensure that we become all that we were created to become by unleashing the hidden and limitless potentials that we all carry.

Hellen Ayaa has a passion to help people become their best selves and it shines through as you thumb through the pages of her book. Despite her multifaceted roles as educator, wife and mother, she had put in the discipline required to publish such a rich text. This feat, more than anything else, has earned her the right to talk about the subject as someone who is walking the talk.

I recommend this book for everyone: teen, youth, adult. If you have not discovered your purpose she breaks it down in clear relatable terms, if you have a vision she hands you the tools you require to transform it from dreams to reality, if you are walking in the reality, she gives you a push to ensure you do not rest on your laurels but to do more. Success in life is a journey not a destination. There is so much we can accomplish if only we can put in the effort and work required to Become.
